While slightly smaller than 200 series cars, the 500's carry the same beauty and level of trim detail. Like their 200 series brethren, the 500 series cars are constructed entirely of stamped metal components. Each car features black oxide finished trucks, nickel truck journal boxes and sprung latch couplers for that authentic look and feel of yesteryear. Two all-new 200 and 500 series cars are being unveiled this year from MTH. The 200 Series and 500 Series Ore Cars are sure to become a favorite amongst new and purist tinplate fans alike. Equally at home behind the MTH or any other manufacturer's standard gauge locomotives, these stunningly attractive ore cars add color and variety to any standard gauge layout or Christmas Garden.
