To install the new file into the S-2 Proto-Sound 2.0 electronics, consumers will need the DCS Digital Command System or find an M.T.H. Authorized Retailer to perform the update for you. Because Proto-Sound 2.0 locomotive electronics are software based, there is no need to disassemble the locomotive or remove and replace electronic components when updating the sound files in the locomotive. The process only takes a few minutes and can be done right on your layout with the locomotive sitting on the tracks.

Consumers interested in ordering the S-2 should contact their local M.T.H. Authorized Retailer.
