
February 14, 2007 - M.T.H. Electric Trains is pleased to announce that all the O Scale Premier Line steam locomotives featured in the 2007 Volume 1 catalog will be produced despite earlier reports that insufficient early orders for some of the locomotives had placed them in jeopardy of not entering production this Spring.
In addition to moving forward with production, those locomotives previously announced as in jeopoardy of not going into production will feature a number of enhancements not included in the catalog descriptions. Most notable among these enhancements is the all new "wireless" drawbar connecting locomotive to tender. No longer will these impressive models be encumbered by the sight of the Proto-Sound 2.0 digital sound board tether.




The wireless drawbar will also be utilized in the following Premier Line steam locomotives:
Pennsylvania L-1 Mikado
USRA 0-6-0 Switcher

As this is new tooling, it will have all of the current upgrades including the scale size smoke box door hinges and the wireless drawbar.
