January 24, 2007 - M.T.H. Electric Trains has begun shipping its four roadname series of 4-4-0 American steam engines to M.T.H. Authorized Retailers. Cataloged in the 2006 Volume 2 Catalog, each locomotive has unique features and details that differentiate it from the others in the series.

Like most M.T.H. Premier Line steam engines, these locomotives are outfitted with Proto-Sound 2.0 and include the exclusive Proto-Scale 3-2 feature that allows the user to quickly configure the locomotive for operation on 2 or 3-rail track. Users can choose from scale wheels or hi-rail wheels when purchasing their locomotive and can operate either version on AC or DC power.
