Santa Fe O Gauge RailKing F-3 R-T-R Passenger Train Set w/Proto-Sound 3.0
Overview
For luxury travel between Chicago and Los Angeles, the Santa Fe was the way to go. Highballing though the Southwest's deserts and mountains, Santa Fe streamliners like the Chief, Super Chief, and El Capitan were rolling hotels where one could eat like a king and be lulled to sleep by the gentle rhythm of the rails. Santa Fe streamliners were a favorite means of travel for movie stars, and in 1951 the railroad was the first to introduce dome cars on the Chicago-L.A. route.
Imagine you're on your way to Hollywood in this Santa Fe passenger set. Each car (except the baggage car) has a detailed, lighted interior. The engine features authentic Santa Fe station announcements and CD-quality bell, horn, and diesel motor sounds. Add additional matching cars for even more fun - this twin-motored diesel has plenty of power to pull them!
